Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use this site to submit a project intake or to check on a project, and what we do with it. It applies to this site only — not to any website we build for you, which carries its own policy.

When you fill out an intake form, we collect what you type into it. That typically includes:

• Your name, business name, email addresses, phone numbers and business address
• Details about the project — goals, preferences, features, screens, locations, timelines
• Any files you choose to upload, such as a logo, brand guide or reference images
• Social media and business listing links you provide

If you create an account to follow your project, we store your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google — never your password.

As you work through an intake form, your answers are saved in your own browser's local storage so you can close the tab and come back without starting over. That data stays on your device and is cleared once you submit. We also use the cookies and tokens required to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

• To contact you about that project, using the method you told us you prefer
• To build, install, host and support what you hire us to do
• To keep a record of the work so we can support it properly later

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We don't use what you submit to market unrelated products to you.

Your information is visible to Retail Systems Inc staff working on your project. We also rely on service providers to run this software — application and database hosting, file storage, and email delivery. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or where it's necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

If you create an account, you can see only your own projects — matched to the email address you used. You cannot see other clients' information, and our internal notes, costs and working files are never exposed through your account.

We keep intake submissions and project records for as long as we're working together, and afterwards as a reference for supporting or rebuilding the work. You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we'll do so, except where we're required to keep records for tax or legal reasons.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls that limit it to authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us — please don't send passwords, card numbers or government ID numbers through these forms.

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Just get in touch and we'll take care of it.

This site is meant for businesses. It isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect their information.
